Terms & Conditions – Brothers Location

Welcome to Brothers Location, your car rental service in Fes, Morocco. These Terms & Conditions explain the rules for renting a car from us. By booking a car, you agree to these rules. Please read them carefully.
1. Renting a Car
1.1. Your Agreement: When you rent a car, you agree to these Terms and the details in your Rental Agreement, which you’ll sign when you pick up the car.
1.2. Who Can Rent: To rent a car, you must:
Be at least 21 years old (or 23 for some car types).
Have a valid driver’s license for at least 2 years. If you have an international license, you might also need an International Driving Permit (IDP) as per Moroccan law.
Show a valid passport or national ID.
Provide a valid credit card in your name for a security deposit.
1.3. Extra Drivers: Other drivers can be added if they meet the same rules and are present when you pick up the car. There might be an extra fee for them.
2. Booking Your Car
2.1. Booking Confirmation: Your booking is set once we send you a confirmation email or document. Cars depend on what’s available.
2.2. What You Pay For: Rental costs are in Moroccan Dirhams (MAD) and usually include basic insurance (for damage and theft, with an excess amount you might have to pay). It doesn’t include fuel, tolls, parking tickets, or extra services unless we say so.
2.3. How to Pay: You’ll usually pay the full rental amount when you pick up the car. We take major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard) and cash.
2.4. Changing Your Booking: If you need to change your rental dates or car type, please ask us in advance. This might change the cost of your rental.
3. Picking Up & Returning Your Car
3.1. What to Bring at Pickup: You must bring your valid driver’s license, passport/ID, and the credit card for the security deposit. If you don’t, we might have to cancel your rental without a refund.
3.2. Car Check: We’ll check the car together for any existing damage when you pick it up. You must check and sign this report. By signing, you agree the car is as described.
3.3. Fuel: The car will have a full tank of fuel. Please return it with a full tank. If not, we’ll add a refueling service fee plus the cost of the missing fuel.
3.4. Return Spot & Time: Return the car to the agreed place and time. Returning late will mean extra fees (see our Refund Policy). Returning early won’t give you a refund for unused time.
3.5. Car Condition on Return: Please return the car in the same condition you got it, allowing for normal use. If it’s very dirty, stained, or smells (e.g., from smoking), there will be a cleaning fee.
4. Security Deposit
4.1. We need a security deposit of [3000 MAD] when you pick up the car, usually by holding funds on your credit card. This deposit covers possible damages, extra mileage, traffic fines, or other fees.
4.2. This deposit will be returned to you within [3-5] business days after you return the car, as long as there’s no new damage, outstanding amounts, or policy issues. Any applicable fees will be deducted.
5. Insurance & Responsibility
5.1. Basic Insurance: All rentals come with basic insurance for damage (CDW) and theft (TP), each with an excess amount. This means you are responsible for damage or theft up to this excess amount if you follow the rental rules.
5.3. What’s Not Covered: Standard insurance doesn’t cover damage from carelessness, driving under the influence, unauthorized drivers, off-road driving, or damage to tires, wheels, inside the car, or lost keys. In these cases, you’ll be fully responsible for all costs.
5.4. Accidents/Theft: If there’s an accident or theft, you must immediately tell Brothers Location and the local police (Gendarmerie Royale or Police Nationale) and get a police report. If you don’t, your insurance might not be valid, and you’d be fully responsible.
6. What You Can’t Do with the Car
You agree not to use the car:
For anything illegal.
For racing, off-road driving, or pulling other vehicles.
By anyone not listed as a driver.
While under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
To carry goods or people for money without proper permits.
Outside Morocco without our written permission.
7. Traffic Tickets & Tolls
You are responsible for all traffic tickets, parking fines, and tolls during your rental. There might be an administrative fee for us to process these.
8. Car Care & Breakdowns
8.1. You should check the car’s oil, water, and tire pressure during your rental.
8.2. If the car breaks down or has a mechanical problem, contact Brothers Location right away. Don’t try to fix it yourself unless we tell you to.
9. Your Personal Information
We collect and use your personal information to manage your rental and improve our services, following Moroccan data protection laws.

10. Policy Updates
Brothers Location can update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website. If you keep using our services after changes, it means you accept the new Terms.
11. Moroccan Law Applies
These Terms are based on the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any disagreements will be handled only in the courts in Fes, Morocco.
